Who writes what

AdamSofi Insights is the blog of AdamSofi Technology. Every article carries one of two bylines.

"Adam Sofi" means Adam Sofi wrote the article personally. Personal views are clearly marked "Opinion".

"AdamSofi Editorial" means the article was prepared by our editorial desk, which may use automated tools. We never put a person's name on an article they did not write.

Research and sources

We start from primary sources or reputable publishers' reporting. Every source we rely on is listed at the end of the article, with the publisher's name linking directly to the original article rather than the publisher's homepage.

We summarise in our own words and quote only briefly, with attribution. We do not claim original reporting, interviews or hands-on testing unless we actually did them.

In news pieces we keep what happened (facts from the sources) separate from our analysis of what it means.

Use of automation and AI

Some AdamSofi Editorial articles are drafted with AI assistance from sources we select. Such drafts may only link to sources in the article's source list; our system rejects any other link.

We do not use AI to invent quotes, personal experience, customer stories or test results. AI-generated images are labelled as illustrations and are not used to depict real events or people.

Human review

Before an AdamSofi Editorial article is published, a human editor checks its claims against the listed sources. Our publishing system blocks desk articles that have not passed this fact check, including scheduled ones.

Desk articles must also go through the review step before they can be published. When Adam Sofi has reviewed and edited an article in full, the byline says "Reviewed by Adam Sofi". That credit is not shown when such a review did not take place.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct the article and add a dated correction note at the end explaining what changed. Minor fixes such as spelling are not noted.
